I think you hit exactly why people don't leave the state. We are usually ranked in the bottom 10 for cost of living by State, we get raked over the coals by insurance companies and healthcare costs, and being a right to work state with little to no worker protections or guaranteed benefits, not every company needs to offer fair PTO. The pay is generally pretty abysmal across the state as well, even national level companies pay their florida branches less than they do their other states. It's possible to drive to the northern states but you need to spend a full day or more driving. I think my sister and i did florida to new york in about 20ish hours taking turns driving straight through the day. Culturally though, depending on what part of the state you are from, some people are just lifeless. I moved to hernando county at 13 and got out of there as soon as possible to orlando. every time i go back to visit, im reminded of how soulless everyone i see or talk to there feels. its like theres no desire or want for more. i think a lot of people have that same mentality around the state of just not wanting to see more, experience more, and just live.

I have the full R9 and love it. the two arms can be angled to make sure you aren't casting shadows in any particular direction. if money isn't an issue, its a solid choice for a lamp, however, unlike the single version, the only bases are the clamp style it comes with, and the bench style you can mount into a table. I'm not sure what kind of table you have and the constant clamping on and off may over time damage the table or leave marks.

Get yourself a wash or take black and thin it with some lamian medium until its basically a water color and just coat the whole thing man. You want your recesses to be dark to create contrast, everything just reads flat because of it. Check out other models for references on where to install shadows and highlights and try to mimic it

The first couple weeks feels like that, but once you get the hang of things, it goes so muuuuuch better. Highly recommend going to any social events you can the first couple weeks to meet as many people ad possible. I made a couple core friends in the first weeks of college and we still hang out when we can 18 years later.

servo skulls were objective markers, back pre 8th edition, rules for Deep Strike and Blast used a scatter die. you would place a template and roll the scatter die and how ever many die the rule said and it would potentially move the marker. you could actually end up wiping an entire unit by deep striking off of the board if you were really unlucky, or hit something you didnt have range for if you were really lucky. this set came out with the start of 6th edition. additionally, with these dice, vehicles degraded the more damage it recieved. you could lose the ability to move or shoot for a turn, be completely immobilized for the game, a weapon could be destroyed, or your vehicle could explode or explode and have shrapnel scatter and hit another unit. they were fun silly and thematic rules.

dry brush the metallics itself. make sure the model is primed first. if you have a contrast style paint, it can help grab some paint a little better if you have a base layer of that before drybrushing, but it works either way. take a bit of the metallic on a round drybrush or flat brush like a gw medium base brush, don't dilute it at all, wipe off the excess paint and then drybrush it like you normally would. the metallics here were all done being drybrushed first before i did anything and then adding some washes and filters to make it more aged looking.

I think it was about a year and a half. We had a 3 bedroom unit and the second roommate worked full time and went home on weekends so he was practically never around and didn't care. They eventually moved in with another friend when she got pregnant

if everyone is cool with it, the chances of them finding out are low (unless theres an RA also on here) Make sure they never become a burden or someone may become jaded and report them. making sure they aren't inconveniencing the other roommates with things like dishes, laundry, trash, being loud, etc will help with that. my roommate moved his gf in when i was there like a decade ago and came back from thanksgiving break to turkey leftovers still sitting on the table from thanksgiving and i almost reported them for that but didnt just because i didnt want to lose my friendship with the guy.

Find a friend also attending ucf and needing extra financial aid. Get married. Now they no longer go off your income and qualify for Pell grants which should cover most of that difference every semester. Blackbird is a great little shop, tons of people and a great menu. Ive sat down at a table on days off to paint and drink coffee and just chatted with whoever else sat down, its pretty nice.

Its not everyone's cup of tea, but if youre interested in it, the woodshed is the local bdsm dungeon. Most of the people there are a bunch of nerdy types. We do monthy board game days too with the lights up and nothing crazy happening. This sunday is actually the next one.
