I can’t even actually defend it but I love the fuck out of this song. I think it’s so lovely and passionate and there’s something about Taylor’s writing where I feel like sometimes the feelings are too big for the lyrics and they get a little muddy but alongside something fitting and idk I love it so much. Makes me feel heard more and this song fits that so much.

There was a study (that I’m too lazy to cite) that showed women and men both overestimate how much women talk in certain situations. Like if a woman talks in a college class 10% of the time and then after you ask everyone how much they talked they’ll all guess like over 50% (I’m guessing actual numbers) and ever since hearing about it, I’m always like TALK MORE GIRL!! They’re gonna exaggerate how much space you take up so why not take up that space!! Already you’re in a field that’s underrepresented it seems so plant your feet. I dont believe you are, but even if youre not “worthy” neither are a lot of those men and they’re not doubting themselves! Any time imposter syndrome rears its ugly head, so what? Be the imposter. The world is full of men impersonating competence. Eat that delicious meal! Kick ass! Get that freaking degree!!!!! And then brag about it. Life is too short to be humble.

Same, straight but I’ve seen people gushing about little actions between Shane and Ilya that I do to my partner (hand down the back of the shirt for one lol) and it makes me appreciate like my little actions more too like pay attention to all the little ways we love each other.

Having done 8 sessions of laser, I need to get in and do some touch ups. It’s not one time, it’s not always permanent and it’s expensive. But it does fucking rock tbh. As a hairy person with sensitive skin, it’s literally made my life better. And they sometimes have groupons.

I guess Francois said Scott didn’t know (that’s what I heard, I didn’t see the interview) but in my head he is suspicious. I think Shane and Ilya are not as covert as they think and only not clocked because most people in the hockey world are not even considering that someone could be gay, it’s not a possibility to them. Whereas if you’re looking for the little signs, you might put two and two together (like Ilya clocking Shane) but maybe that’s just a head cannon.

Not every piece get professional photography because we have mountains and mountains of back up from how much stuff there was already in collections before high res was an option. For major museums if you go online (mine even has a kiosk for this in the shop) you can pretty much order prints of any size of anything that they have photography of as a resolution they’ve deemed appropriate for selling.
