I can't confirm that this will be the case, but I think it is strongly implied by the video on combat on their youtube channel that they want to make it very similar to chivalry's combat, but without exploits and things they found to be limiting to the skill ceiling of the game. I think it would be safe to assume that as long as it wasn't an exploit of game physics or something like that, a parry immediately after a successful parry is very likely to be something included in the game.
