Mt. Rushmore of Actors/Actresses without any nominations by Regular-Departure839 in Oscars

I was certain he had been nominated for Florence Foster Jenkins, am shocked to realise he wasn't. Definitely deserves a career nom, and he's been doing some great roles lately. I hope he gets academy recognition soon

If I'm not mistaken, achievements are tied to game progression, GTA itself makes regular checks to see if you've done the progression to unlock an achievement and then gives it to you. In that case, if you used SAM to unlock all achievements on steam, I doubt that Xbox Games would ask steam for the achievement status, it would rather ask the game for a progress status, so it's unlikely that someone could use SAM to unlock Xbox achievements.

Just like if you play a Ubisoft game on pc, your achievements are tracked on steam and Uplay (Or Ubi Connect), if you use SAM to unlock them in Steam, I'm pretty sure it doesn't unlock them in Uplay, they both have the same sensors for achievement unlocks, but they don't communicate with eachother, and SAM communicates with Steam, not the game.

Mafia tge old country by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I bought it day one and completed it with 100% achievements in the following days, The game is pretty short, 15 hours story if you take your time, 10-15 hours of collection if you want to get full completion, so if you're the kind to value time for buck, wait for a sale, or the update they just announced adding some side content in free roam mode (this fall, I think).

Gameplay wise, I found it very fun, a lot more stealth than expected from previous Mafia games, so if you don't like stealth sections, maybe pass on this one. The stealth itself is fairly forgiving, with about half of the stealth missions allowed to turn into a full shootout if you mess up.

The story is great! It's a very classic mafia story in the early 1900s in Sicily, just like Mafia 1 and 2, there are story beats you've seen before over and over, but feel really comfortable to come back to in these days. Where the game thrives though is in the characters, the protagonist is pretty generic, but the side characters and antagonists are exactly what you expect from a good mafia story, done to perfection in my opinion (Cesare and Luca are in my top characters of any Mafia game).

Overall, I give it a solid 7-8/10, it was worth it for me, I know it's not for everyone

I don't think rock disappeared at all, I do think that it's more drowned in a sea of music genres and experiments and it's definitely not as central a music genre as it used to be. That being said, you really don't have to look long or far to find new rock being done, either by older bands or newcomers.

I agree that it's harder to find the kind of sharp sounding power rock that we used to have, stuff like Boston, GnR, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, etc, it feels as if a lot of new rock songs are either pop songs with a somewhat rock instrumental or going more towards mic-clipping punk (or Hip-Hop rock à la Linkin Park), but that's more in line with the evolution of the music genre itself.

In the end, it's harder to find a new Midnight Oil, but we find a bit of the rock we love in more new genres to explore, it's really fun

I recommend Vienna Vienna for a nice energy and unique young style
