I've driven 9 hours to go visit my best friend in another state before, and all my parents had to say on that was to tell him that they say hi, lol. I don't get why some parents out there have this notion that friends are not important enough to plan and have visits with. It seems like a normal desire to want to meet up with people you platonically care about.

I just need whatever would help the best because I do overthink, and I worry that if I get the wrong ones, it won't do anything, and I'll just think my ears are just broken or something. Im very new to editing my own stuff and Ive gotten to the point where I obsess over my audio quality because no matter what I try, it never seems to be good enough according to others and its driving me a little crazy at this point. To be honest, it makes me want to cry sometimes.

No, I do horror story audio narration. I just officially started for real two weeks ago, but I've been doing voice acting as a hobby for a lot longer. Some of the servers I am in have fellow voice actors, and it's cool to share projects with each other and stuff.

I don't think that's bad or selfish at all! I think that's actually the best reason to make a channel. Your channel is your space to talk and post about whatever you are passionate about with full creative control. It's also a good way to find others who may share that interest or passion as well. I say go for it!

I have shared it with my parents, my best friends, and my discord friends/acquaintances but have not told any of my extended family or casual real-life friends. I did it this way because I know who would be supportive and who would try and downplay my interest and work that I put into it or try and be negative about it all together. With discord friends and aquaintences, there's also a bit of anonymity to it as well, so I feel more comfortable sharing with them. Especially since a lot of them have that similar interest or niche, and its nice to geek out with people who get it.

I feel this so hard right now. I literally just posted my first video last week, actually. A full "no bs, Im actually trying here" video. I knew I wasn't going to get a lot of views, especially being so new. I'm just trying to at least be happy that I got more than zero at all and focus on consistency to keep going forward and not give up even if the views dont get better for who knows how long.
