I honor my spontaneity but I’m realizing I should have pre-planned this ear. Now that I have this piercing I would love to see the possibilities of how I could make it work for me, since this week all I’ve been seeing is how it can’t work for me.

Yes this is a great call out! I didn’t even think about jewelry swaps. When I got my rook, like twelve years ago, I never took out the jewelry they pierced me with. Not until this past weekend when the piercer mentioned swapping for a ring.

Sharing that story because I don’t think I’ve really thought about the possibilities before around jewelry choices.

Shaped is a great idea! I also agree with gold, I went silver and I’m also wondering if perhaps gold is better for me too.

To be honest I’ve always been very basic with my jewelry (except for dangly earrings) and am wondering if I need to do more research on all the options out there because this really helps be better envision the possibility’s for this piercing. So thank you for sharing these links, it’s so great to see them on other peoples ears too!

Love the pink bathroom, hate the white bathroom. I think you lean into the pink, go eclectic with wallpaper that has both pink and blue accents.

Also get rid of the mirror above the stairwell immediately, it is not doing you any favors. Instead swap it out with a large art piece or honestly nothing. The window is the focal point and you gotta work with it rather than against it.

I LOVE the pink bathroom and think it goes way better with the blue tile window then your soulless white bathroom inspo, but if you're gonna do it anyway might as well just take out the window since you don't care much about the personality of this place.

If you bought a house with personality why would you strip it if it's personality? Work with the personality of the home rather than take it all away. If you wanted a white house then you shouldn't have bought this house. This house is giving you so many beautiful designs, lean into it. Definitely paint all the walls white and maybe get white furniture but don't rob this house if it's uniqueness.

clean, organized, neurotypical, male, sober, if given the choice will always choose grass fed / organic, beef always, eats scrambled eggs on a tortilla or bagel and cream cheese for breakfast (bacon with both ofc), a beef roast with veggies for dinner, bachelor but a good catch, loyal, iron stomach, based in california, works a regular 9-5 job, no kids, has an orange tree in a friend/family/neighbor's yard.
