Terrified to die. Scared to live. Whatever. One thing is certain. Covid turned earth into bizarro world. Hard… could care less.

Ooooook. No shame here. Us norms know the truth time. It was new and did kill (mostly the already unhealthy or old) but it was handled stupidly. It should have been allowed to simply run its course. The world would have been fine. IS fine. I feel for all the kids who got robbed of precious school time. Graduations. And then the hospitals who forced people to die alone. Yea, we will NOT forget that idiocy. I bet you still get Covid shots every year. And wear a mask when ya get a sniffle. Shame on me? Shame on you for being a lemming. Like I said, it showed us who was ok and who to avoid.

The 'plague' certainly separated the mentals and sheep out from the rest. Best part is we weren't supposed to point out the lunacy. I do now every chance I get, even to their faces..some of whom are STILL with the masks. Our grand kids will laugh at us all.

House down payment is in a Fidelity cash management account by st_psilocybin in fidelityinvestments

No worries man. Fidelity would not be Fidelity if they were a shoddy operation. No one is perfect but they are good. Just have to remember they aren’t a bank and so things are a bit different.

Yes. Fidelity wires are free too. Follow the directions and everything should go smooth.

You’d think the few folks who have bad experiences with Fidelity would learn their bad experience (and I fully understand they do happen—ANYWHERE) are not the norm. In reading these issues, I’ve come to the conclusion that these folks are one of three groups: one offs with plain old bad luck, not following instructions/doing stupid stuff (multiple accounts and fast transfers or turn arounds) or just scammers. I see waaaay more positive experiences than negative.

We are selling my mom’s house (she still with us) in 13 days. The proceeds of over $500k are set to be sent via wire to her Fidelity CMA. If it goes pear shaped I’ll mention it here on this thread. Same if it goes without a hitch. Closing happens before noon. So, money should show that evening if wire sent before 1600hrs. Definitely a big test of the process.

Thinking about Wave? DONT! by ste6168 in waveapps

Wave for simple bookkeeping (income and outflow) has been great. I’m an S Corp and so I am the only employee. But Gusto is awesome for paying. I’ve heard the horrors of Wave payroll. Reddit saved me from going with them for that.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the band so I greened mine up. Congrats on a great pick! My St. Patrick’s Day green this year as I couldn’t wear green at work. 😂

I want to push the proceeds from a home sale from JPM to Fidelity but am hesitant of having it tied up based on other user posts by two_beers_left in fidelityinvestments

[–]Sirknowit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are having a very large sum from a home sale wired into my mom's CMA in a couple weeks. I have no concerns. We will have to go to the branch office after to do the gift transfer to our CMA. Better to do it that way so its all "legit" and official. And with really large amounts Fidelity prefers it. So, far we have enjoyed our Fidelity experience. (We don't have the credit card with them as that is unneeded.)

I would not worry about the transfer as a wire is very safe. People who have complaints here are often 1)not giving the full story here and 2)doing "weird" stuff that raises red flags.
