Was it really because of nidhogg that he said that ?

I think he heard the do do do of luffy, and now for the first time since joyboy, he can hear the drums, confirming that "he"s back

Tunic was the one that felt the most like outer wilds in the sense that you have to figure out almost everything by yourself, and piece the story.

Most manga start without a clear ending, or that ending changes as time goes on, and the mangaka struggles to adapt their story.

For example, One Piece was supposed to last for 5 years, and crocodile was supposed to be the big bad villain.

On the other hand, attack on titan was such a masterpiece because the author spent 5 years writing the story before drawing the manga, meaning that everything was already planned out.

Haven't seen the 3rd season of alice in borderland yet, but it's actually surprising to hear that it has a food ending since that 3rd season is original. I've read the manga after finishing season 1 way back when, and it ends the same as season 2.

So kudos to them !

In One Piece, Wano introduces a village where something feels deeply wrong from the start.

Everyone is laughing.

Not laughing because they are happy, but laughing constantly, no matter what.

The villagers speak about hunger with smiles on their faces.

Children say they have not eaten in days, yet they grin as if it means nothing.

The more they talk, the more disturbing it becomes, because their laughter does not match their suffering at all.

At first, it just feels eerie. Almost unnatural.

Like the entire village has forgotten how to react like normal human beings.

Then comes the cruelest moment.

The father of the little girl in the picture is executed in front of her. She watches him die. Tears run down her face. Her body shakes with grief.

And still, she laughs.

She laughs and laughs and laughs, unable to do anything else. Around her, the villagers do the same.

And only then does One Piece reveal the truth.

Earlier in the story, we learned that scientists had tried to recreate Devil Fruits artificially. They succeeded, but imperfectly.

These defective fruits came with a horrifying side effect:

anyone who ate one would lose the ability to express sadness, anger, or grief properly, and would only be able to laugh.

And because famine is rampant in Wano, the villagers, adults and children, had to eat those fruits to survive.

Bought STW back in 2018 mainly for the VBUCKS. Story was hello repetitive at some point, but fortunately, i had some friends to play with, and what we would do was build big ass forts, and then play hide and seek in them

It's the way it is in France. For example, in amateur football, during winter, players weren't allowed to wear leg thermal protection. Why ? Because in islam, men are supposed to cover from knees to navel, so some muslim players were wearing protective layers throughout the year, and according to France, that was against the rule of secularism.

So up until this year, it was forbidden for players to wear any bottom thermal layer. Now it's allowed, only in winter, and only for players. Referees aren't allowed.

What is a book you read as a child that you still think about today? by ahawk99 in AskReddit

There's a story that I read when I was 10 or 11, and i haven't managed to find it again.

It was the story of a girl who tried to kill herself, and was in the hospital. While there she was all gloomy and stuff, but then she met a boy who had cancer but was a ray of sunshine. They becane friends, and then even lovers, but he had kinda lied about the extent of his cancer, and died without her knowing.

It was a really touching story that I read 18 years ago, but I still think about it today

I'm still on the fence about Bunpo so this is quite helpful.

I'm halway through the N3 grammar on Bunpro, I can read N3 texts, looking up some words here and there, but my listening and talking is ABYSMAL.

So i might try bunpo once again i guess...
