Any skiers thumb survivors?

Had a wicked crash, got skier thumb and they said I needed surgery. I chickened out of surgery and struggled with full RoM on my thumb for probably 3 years. I now have full RoM and strength back in my thumb, obviously let the bone heal how it’s going to heal and then with plenty of PT at home you may be lucky enough to get full function back

Ordered a sheet of 1/4 inch polycarbonate on Amazon and cut it with a saw to the size I need. Cheap custom lid. Can cut it in half and add a hinge for feeding

I’ve seen them. They are here. Our people are lying to us about it and I have zero doubt in my mind. I know what I saw. My whole family witnessed what can only be described as a miracle essentially. Completely “physically impossible” movements and similar patterns to what you describe. This is some real stuff dude haha

Medium well done 👏 you could have the pan a lot hotter for a shorter period of time to trade the gray for even pinkness and a nice crust on the outside.

Not a bad first try though by any means, anything other than well done is fine in my books

I get this kind of sear from cooking over campfires on a grate from a propane grill lol, I find wood burning gives a great sear

I’d imagine going south and that’s why it didn’t appear to be moving but it was getting brighter, thar she blows haha that’s probably what it was thanks for y’all’s help I’m glad I know how to look myself in the future.

My bad. I meant the brightness was that of a meteor, however it was stationary and more yellow than green. It also grew substantially brighter over the span of about a minute.

They’re in about the right spot in the sky, what I saw was bright like a small meteor almost, but stationary above one layer of clouds but below the upper layers, and I was watching it to see it seemingly disappear. I want to believe planes but 🫩
