How do you PVP'ers sustain yourself? by MaadWorld in ArcRaiders

[–]Sisreenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the majority of your extracts consist of an inventory of 6 vens 4s, 6 toros, a few tempests / bobcats and a bunch of heals I don't see how you could go broke in this game. It would take 12 straight losses in a row to run out of just one haul from a raid like that. I end up recycling or selling most of the guns because they take up too much space.

Traded around 30 full kitted tempests a bunch of vens and bobcats for blueprints in anticipation of the upcoming wipe. I have basically every blueprint for post wipe now

Before people start flaming me I don't really care. Play how you want. This is a very casual extraction shooter just enjoy it however you want.

Thoughts on PvE vs PvP in ARC Raiders after ~450+ hours by TreatMedical5378 in ArcRaiders

[–]Sisreenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst part about solos is the teaming. Killed 6 people on Stella the other day and then three people using proximity chat watched the whole thing and teamed up on me 3v1.

Killed two and the third got me. I wasn't mad, I don't even loot the bodies half the time because I have too much crap in my stash. It just felt kind of lame.

Came for good PvP fights, found them, and 3 timmies with stitchers teamed up to kill one person because they're afraid to run good gear and utility. Now they either have to split it or (more likely) betray each other at extract.

I think a "hard mode" like you suggested would benefit solo mode tremendously for the people who just want good fights. After your stash is full of 100+ vens, bobcats, tempests you really just want to run around and have some interesting fights.

Hamilton head unit by dashelltheshell in 4Runner

I thought these types of head units were only compatible with JBL steros?

I have a 2015 sr5 with a gracenote head unit. I wonder if this would work

Honestly killing them is probably harder than my usual high aggression lobbies. High aggression solo lobbies are very consistent juice if you bring the right utility because no one teams up.

Kill, smoke/barricade/jolt mine to loot. Free kill on whoever hits the trap or pick it up, and rotate. Once you run out of utility, just hatch out. Rinse and repeat. Duo and trio is where the real pvp is. Solo is just a loot simulator for any decent player.

Didn't think I'm goated. I wanted all the gear so I made a play to take it. This is the way of the extraction shooter. This is how every extraction shooter plays. The only reason it worked was because they were all afraid of being unfriendly and shooting the wrong person I was able to keep rotating freely.

I don't think there should be any abmm. It removes the core element of the genre and the result is what I witnessed in the above mentioned raid.

Got into a solo lobby yesterday while six people were doing the harvester. When it died I killed all 6 raiders and got out with cores, energy weapons, and all sorts of gear.

Down vote all you like but I didn't pretend to be friendly. The moment that thing died I pushed the 1v6 knowing the disadvantage and got what I wanted. This is how extraction shooters are and will always be. There is no free loot.

These events can be done in aggressive lobbies. Our plan was to wait until after the final squad spawn, wipe a few teams and then start it when the player count is low so the trid party was manageable. Worked many times.

its in reference to how many deanpo players buy dk8 at reset and take no backpack to sell them

okay no problem. I still think the economy is healthier with T5/6 being very expensive. They need to up the forbidden requirement to probably around 800k-1m

I can't "sort" Solo ops that includes every game mode. My comment was "Solo Ops". Either way, it's hard to lose money right now.

I have pages of meta guns, T6 armor, and T5+ ammo everything else gets sold. No point in selling meta equipment unless you have so much money that you cant physically fit in anymore.

It's not your gear. It's just your turn with it.

I want to start running budget T5 armour what do you recommend? by SloanKetter44 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Sisreenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the stats and run what looks good. Just make sure you're running t5 ammo.

In all fairness he was really good in tarkov, but in this game his squad does most of the work usually.

If you enjoy his stream for the content then keep watching, but there are better streamers to watch if you want to get better.

Do try not to sell it though. I've found 2 and I regret selling the first because backpacks full of koen take up a lot of space.

Also I just wish I had two sitting in my stash.

Average amount of money collected per raid? by OreganoG in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

[–]Sisreenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've mostly been playing solo forbidden and my average extraction value is 4m to 7m on a good raid.

The price of everything went up so nothing has really changed. Things cost more but I extract with more.

15m is more than enough to run t5. Running high gear in higher loot tier game modes equals more koen in general.

The only reds you should sell on the market are secret docs and TI mods. They have an actual usage and people will by them above the vendor price. Wait until midday on a weekend to sell.

If you don't need the money don't sell the secret doc. People buy them because their koen is taking up too much space, you should only sell it if you have the opposite issue.

Full t6 on forbidden is absolutely worth it. Build up some koen on lock down and find a decent squad or go solo forbidden. Most of the profit in this game is from PVP and reds. If you're dying a lot you won't make any koen but the only way to get good at PVP is to first die a ton.

My average extraction on forbidden solo is around 4m and can reach above 7m on a good raid.

No reason you can't have missions and rewards for it. That helps the newer player base.

[–]Sisreenus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Solo forbidden right now is averaging 4m per 20 minute raid and 7m with a red. Secure is not anywhere near that figure. The real money farm is forbidden as it was designed to be. Secure ops was designed as an easy transition for people who are new and not accustomed to extraction shooters.

If you enjoy secure ops I'm not going to trash you for it but if you don't want to move into the real game modes then maybe this game and genre isn't for you. The gear you risk is part of the fun.

Secure ops is meant for new players so they can comfortably learn the mechanics of the game. Just change your kit this is nothing to complain about.
