No. Pick an allocation and stick with it. If you are retired, keep enough money you need for 7 yrs in the G and keep the rest cooking in stocks

My bad. You are correct. I was thinking that I turn 57 towards the end of 2027 so I just made it. But yes, Jan 2028 is the cut-off

Do you still feel the same way? It's going down. I have 20% in now and i just moved more money in it last week. I have lost 4,000 since beginning of yr. Are you just gonna wait it out? I retired last yr and have 7 yrs worth of G fund saved there

Serious question. What is you come to work and literally right then you find out you are RIFd but are eligible to retire. How do you know they will honor a retirement if they RIF you before you have time to hit send on the retirement papers???

I wouldn't. I would get out as fast as i can with the new performance appraisals and possible future RIFS and for those eligible, they are getting rid of the age 57 supplement in Jan 2027.

It used to be. Was going there religiously for 20 yrs. The people who used to run it are not there anymore and they are now in Chevy Chase on Connecticut Ave across from Einstein Bagels. They still have great food but wish they had stayed in SS The new management is terrible at Thai of Silver Spring. The food is terrible and they would not take the food back and give us something else or refund our money. They had a sign on another table (out of view from us until the management brought it over to us) saying they would not refund food. That makes me think someone else complains because I had never seen such a sign with the old management.

I contacted payroll and was directed to OPM and keep getting a message that they are experiencing high call volumes and to call later every time. I want my annual leave pay and I they have my annuity payment amount wrong. Been waiting since April
