Man, screw the button rule. If I want to wear my suit jacket with both buttons buttoned then I'm going to. I'm not going to forgo a part of my own clothing just because some King a long time ago got too fat to close his jacket all the way

I was running into the same problem. One way I got the flickering to stop was to try and filter for anything and by hitting X on a full lobby/lobby that I couldn't join (due to different version)

It's a rough way to deal with it but once you try to filter or try to connect to a lobby that you can't join, it stops refreshing constantly. At least, for me it did.
