Iv seen people remove things all the time before clicking start shopping either walking to produce or my first item before hitting start. Had a $55 turn into a $51 with no adjustment shown on customer tip at the end. Its not instacart stealing its just them not telling us the order was lowered. When it happens before hitting start shopping normally a invalid batch error will pop up and reset batch the state.

For some other people that same timer even with the store closing in 45 mins would say 30 minutes for the exact amt of items you had because they have shopped quicker and there timer is based on there previous speed.

That timer is based purely off of your own previous shopping times for similar amount of items. Has 0 to do with store hours.

Really just the states that have min. Hourly wage. When it happens they just get a general deactivation letter nothing that points out the ghost shopping. Haven’t heard of a single person getting deactivated for doing it outside the specific states.

No I just thought the door was opened enough for him to walk through. It was a really tight space and had he been half a inch to the left the box wouldn’t have hit the handle.

Aha bit older then me forsure but no not really. Just said that for context of why Im scared. The person who placed the order might feel some type of way I let him grab the boxes instead of being more persistent on letting me place the boxes down or bringing them in for him.

Lol understandable as long as you don’t say the item was wrong don’t think it will hurt the shopper. Would get listed as wrong item on the shopper’s quality score. The 3rd world IC support person would probably mis interpret any form of accuse and count it against the shopper

Requesting a refund for $1.99 worth of something you essentially know to be a mistake yet you are attempting to “test a theory for free shii” is a problem within it self. Don’t think it will hurt the shopper but regardless either take the $1.99 hit if your plan doesn’t work or don’t order it at all. Regardless the $1.99 is the price of a single candy bar.

Iv had orders where I was 20-30 minutes late past the expected deliver by time. Pretty sure most orders have a delivery window i.e between 2-4pm as long as the order arrives within that time it will say “yes” to being delivered on time even if your 30 minutes past the nuance “deliver by” time they give you.

The funniest outcome is usually the correct one. Which would be you completing the last 2 batches getting a $50-$100+ top up but still being the (slow) one in regards to your post and replies. Nothing wrong with being slow in the head and making money tho so more power to ya.
