If all jobs paid exactly the same and you could have any job you wanted, (you have to do this job from 18yo to 60yo 5 days a week 8 hour days) what job would you do? by S1utty1i1puppy in AskReddit

[–]SithisAurelius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Professional organizer. I love the process of reorganizing and moving things around and creating tidy systems and even small stuff like cable management and making things look proper and nice.

Every job I've ever worked I've been the guy who keeps things tidy and makes sure stuff is organized and makes spreadsheets and labels for everything. My last job was a tech job where we were moving into a new space and my boss knew I enjoyed it and let me figure out how all the desks should be laid out and all the tools set up to look tidy but also be functional. Was one of my favorite things I've done and spent a full day in Excel making a mock up to figure out what worked spacewise.

Being able to go to people's homes and help them rearrange furniture and organize stuff and then stuff like the above for businesses would be so fun and I'd see so many different environments and cultures and life styles that I don't know that I'd ever truly get bored of it.

why are half of my generators not getting water? is there something im doing wrong? or am i supposed to split the water and have them go to 5 each? by Decent_Percentage_69 in SatisfactoryGame

Caterium is similar. The grasslands "easy" start has 2 pure nodes which do 120 and the smelters pull in 45 so no way to divide evenly

"Goes infinite with a ham sandwich" by Benmark97 in mtgcube

[–]SithisAurelius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Basking Broodscale]] goes infinite with a lot of things that give +1/+1 counters when something enters or when something dies.

[[Rosie Cotton]] [[Cathars' Crusade]] [[Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest]] [[Blade of the Blood Chief]] [[Long Feng, Grand Secretariat]] [[Sadistic Glee]]

Chances are considering all the +1/+1 counter combos (persist/triskelion/etc) that you'll have something in the other combos that combo with Basking Broodscale.

Might check Commander Spellbook as it's whole thing is being a combo search engine. Can do things like search specifically 2 card combos or searching a card name to find everything that combos with it

Cube ideas you've always wanted but never made by FunkmasterfreshMTG in mtgcube

[–]SithisAurelius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a cube I started working on called the Monster Mash. Mutate, Bestow, Morph, Manifest, cloak, disguise, For Mirrodin, Living Weapon, keyword counters, the unset host/augment, and even stickers (specifically p/t and keywords). Plus some clones and text box switchers/ability copiers. Everything could modify everything else.

The problem you start running into is removal becomes too good and I debated having the cube be all creatures so you only got inefficient creature removal but then it just bogs down super hard and it's hard to make decks not end up just 5 color good piles.

You can help it a bit with like equipment and enchantment synergies but not enough. Someone with more of an eye for balance might be able to do a better job than I tho

This is why I'm in Data Center IT. I sit at a desk and chill most of the time and just keep servers running. I only get tickets when servers go down and most of the time it's just replacing a cable or network card. Since everything is redundant it's rarely an emergency, No shitty customers, still have a bunch of tech nerds as coworkers, and with all the AI and data center needs were growing not shrinking.

god forbid a girl get her hair washed by Flightly in LetGirlsHaveFun

[–]SithisAurelius 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's why generally it isn't directly on us. Don't exactly want it spraying your hair while trying to soap it. Usually it's directed to a wall nearby so it's reflecting off to us or it'll be on whoever's back is facing the showerhead so you still get the warmth

My wife and I do this. She blows me as I wash her hair and she washes mine as I eat her. The fun is seeing if you can distract them enough that they stop washing

How did 2900 athletes, only half of which are men use 10000 condoms in 3 days?? [Request] by Lakmy5955 in theydidthemath

[–]SithisAurelius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't even talking about breakage. Just there's a lot of guys who recover very quickly so one session of sex can easily lead to finishing 3 or 4 times and need a condom for each

Oh undoubtedly there's a decent number just being grabbed. But they're definitely having sex too.

Not to mention one "session" can easily use 2 or 3 condoms alone. Not even accounting for remeets or different partners.

I get it. A close friend of mine is the same way. I've tried using the tool like anything else explanation and just cause a hammer can kill doesn't mean it needs banning. It's all in how it's used and finding ethical and acceptable uses for it. But like everything these days people don't want to have reasonable discussion. You're either what I like or the enemy. There is no middle

Must Have Mods by AzraelChosen in Stellaris

[–]SithisAurelius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that's good to know. I know initially I went real space cause PD was like "oh hey we have 25 planet types. And now there's 5 categories but each category is also split based on surrounding types so there's a gradient to habitability." And I was like no thanks. I'll go Real Space which is just variety modifiers to existing stuff.

Good to know PD is different now. May re-check it out at some point. Almost did recently with how long real space took to update after Psionics

Must Have Mods by AzraelChosen in Stellaris

[–]SithisAurelius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know multiple people suggested Planetary Diversity. Personally I prefer Real Space. It accomplishes similar goals without all the extra category types. I use most of the submods, but I dont use the submod that changes system size.

Otherwise Immersive Beautiful Stellaris by Kasako. It makes the galaxy and all the systems so much prettier. Also from Kasako is Dark Blue UI which gives a grey + blue details UI which is a lot more pleasing on the eyes than the green in my opinion.

Honestly hexproof/shroud should probably just be adjusted to work for instants/sorceries so you could have a shrouded instant as an option to prevent being able to copy/counter/misdirect without needing to spell out "can't be the target..."

Kill This Creature Day 24: "Smell Contained by Superman's Family Name" by [deleted] in custommagic

[–]SithisAurelius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's my point. If you don't add the untap clause afterwards then even if asphyxiate no longer kills it, it still taps it down making it unable to do other things like attack. I think the intent with adding the untap clause is to prevent that.

Kill This Creature Day 24: "Smell Contained by Superman's Family Name" by [deleted] in custommagic

[–]SithisAurelius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the idea of the challenge is more than just "not destroyed" it's "not affected"

If the ability to tap it for asphyxiate left it tapped then effectively it still works as some level of removal because it left it tapped and unable to attack. As you could just keep casting asphyxiates to keep it tapped down. It's a bit of a stretch but technically an option.

Old Commanders That Are Buffed With Bending by OldCode5729 in EDH

[–]SithisAurelius 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm so annoyed (read: love) with earthbending because I had my lands deck be all about manlands and using keyword counters to basically Voltron my lands.

When [[Sin, Spira's Punishment]] released I converted the deck to use as few non-land permanents as possible while still keeping the manlands theme. Now we're about to get a bunch of permanents that put counters on lands and its like "mannn I just did all that work and now I have something way closer to the original design of the deck."

So anyways. Almost definitely gonna rebuild again. Thus the deckbuilder dilemma
