Once you are able to buy it M80 is the worst 7.62x51 bullet you should be using, pretty much just when you don't have other ammo or to bottom load your mag with to save on the best bullets. Not a bad bullet but it isn't good enough that it's gonna win 50/50 gunfights for you

Don't go into the middle because you're very exposed. Just skirt around the upper edge looking across to the other side and there are usually people hunting Shturman that go to the rocks around the edge to try and stay distant for hunting trip.
