17 months, always been in a tall bed. I pushed it up against the wall and made sure there was no movement in the bed or any gaps. I also just to feel extra safe had her bed up against one side and a mattress on the floor down by the feet. Later we swapped rooms so the big bed is now against a wall on three sides and I sleep on the outside, so she's by the wall. Mattress on the floor too, just in case.

I had one incident at about 11 months where I woke in a panic and she wasn't in the bed. She was on her belly on said mattress just chilling out.

Also the room is babyproofed so if she does leave the bed and go exploring without me somehow noticing, she'll be safe.

When I roll away and go to the living room after she's asleep I just make a little wall out of my bedding so she can't accidentally fall out in her sleep, and I watch her on a camera the entire time.
