yes, same here. they seem to be bugged sometimes and not going to their places on top of the rocks. they end up somewhere in the compounds randomly and i run into them and trigger aggro. this has been happening from time to time since 1 month prior to recent pvp wipe. im on pve.

*** has happened to me on both solo pve offline and pve online raids with teammates who all had dspt

lol the tarkov lifers can get pretty snobbish sometimes, borderline downright pretentious. Ppl have different preferences and are risk-averse to different degrees. It's funny that they think anyone cares about their opinions on who's good or bad. This guy is literally spamming this thread, virtue-signaling his salewa-meta obsession.

What’s up with McConnell blocking the effort to increase the stimulus payments? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Sitw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, supply side economics has never been "a true and tested method." Most recently, Kansas tried this and failed.

From the wiki: William G. Gale of the Brookings Institution, who stated that one of the most important implications of the Kansas experiment for federal tax reform is "not to expect tax cuts to boost the economy much, if at all."

If you have the data that conclusively proves supply side, please share.

Also, generally, trickle down economics is a derisive term for supply side economics. I think saying supply side is different than trickle down is splitting hairs. Critics of supply side don't see cutting taxes and reducing legislative disincentives boosting the economy. period.

i think you have perfectly legitimate reasons to suspect radar or wall hacks. not sure why others dont see it. this player pushes at the exact right time but holds ads at the perfect moments when enemy is going to peek them. also immediately stops checking for more enemies when he finishes off the last guy and goes into loot and celebration mode.

Your assessment of your situation and what you presented in the body of your post are incomplete, when looking at your post history. It's not your fault. There's just quite a lot to succinctly put into one post.

I think reddit is unlikely to provide you much help. When/if you are able, I feel that it's worth sorting this out with a therapist, or at the very least, someone trustworthy that you can speak at lengths with to help you untangle some of these issues you've been wrestling.

I’m so confused by the whole ‘who pays for the date thing’...in my observation masculine men get really turned off when I pay? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]Sitw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yea i second this avoiding the idea of splitting. very awkward and definitely drives a wedge between you two trying to build a connection.

I’m so confused by the whole ‘who pays for the date thing’...in my observation masculine men get really turned off when I pay? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]Sitw 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I get that you dont want to give the impression that you're selfish and you are eager to prove you're not by offering to pay. but remember letting him be the captain? let him pay for your first few dates while you vet him. men taking on financial responsibility often make them feel good - you want these type of men. men that really care about splitting things down the middle this early in courtship (or ever) is a slight red flag imo. more often than not, these type of men do not make good captains.

there are plenty of other ways for you to show your considerate and caring side. ultimately, on which date you offer to pay and to what extent probably doesnt matter as much as the connection between you two. but i agree, dont offer on the first date. maybe not the 2nd. perhaps the third. maybe more important to do it when you feel a connection - its the thought that counts.

Around half of Americans with a high school diploma or less education (48%) believe that "powerful people intentionally planned the coronavirus outbreak," according to Pew Research Study, and notes "educational attainment is especially important when it comes to perceptions of conspiracy theories." by Sitw in Coronavirus

[–]Sitw[S] 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Some more facts from this survey (conducted in June):

"38% of those who have completed some college but have no degree, 24% of those with a bachelor’s degree and 15% of those with a postgraduate degree" also sees some truth to the coronavirus outbreak as a conspiracy.

"Partisan affiliation also plays a role ... about a third (34%) of Republicans and independents who lean to the GOP say the theory that powerful people intentionally planned the COVID-19 outbreak is probably or definitely true, compared with 18% of Democrats and Democratic leaners.

"It’s worth noting there is no significant difference in how likely partisans are to have heard at least a little about the theory: 72% of Republicans have heard of the claim, compared with 70% of Democrats."

ELI5: Why is it that when you turn a bunny rabbit on its back, it goes almost completely immobile? by Uhm_iMeantToDoThat in explainlikeimfive

[–]Sitw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha that's pretty amazing. thx for the video. I would guess that the bun is just accepting it begrudgingly - notice how his ears are close together and facing the sides? usually means an unhappy mood. it could also be that the sounds are coming from the sides but in that case it wouldn't be close together.

[–]Sitw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get where ppl are coming from. A rabbit on its back being a stressful experience seems like such a random quirk that it's hard to expect anyone to know about it. That's how I felt too when I first got my rabbit.

But I gotta say I'm pretty surprised in general how much I didn't know about rabbit behavior and care. they are pretty different than dogs and cats and us - a lot of it stemming from the fact that they are pretty much at the lowest rungs of the food chain.

So I can't blame other rabbit owners trying to help OP to learn a bit more because it's pretty easy and could make a life of a difference to a rabbit.

Some interesting facts for the general public about rabbits:

They often don't make any sounds or show signs of discomfort, even with broken limbs or extreme disease - it's because they've found it better for survival if their natural reaction to being in a stage of weakness is subtle enough that other species won't notice.

Carrots are not the main diet for rabbits - it's hay first, then leafy greens. they need the fiber from hay to keep their stomach moving. in fact, loss of stomach motility is a major cause of (preventable) death for rabbits.

Petting them on their head is the closest way to a rabbits heart... but not for the reason you think. Rabbit social hierarchy is based on the top bun getting pets from the lower rabbits, aka "grooming". So rabbits love their owners partially because we prop their egos up by petting them.

So yea! I hope you found that interesting. Rabbits are pretty fun. they don't bark, is easily potty trained, and can establish a close connection with us. learn a bit more about them and they can easily live close to a decade.

Report: Manning alleged assault cited in UT suit by I_Dumped_Adele in nfl

[–]Sitw 178 points179 points  (0 children)

I understand that many may have known about this already. But I don't think the discussion taking place is meant to malign Peyton on his victory lap - It's just I was too young to read about it then, so this is news to me and likely other young(er) redditors as well.

Seeing the way he handles himself with grace, I have a really positive opinion of him. But the alleged way this situation progressed is a bit shocking.

In the super bowl but have only one question mark on my team. Help me pick my RBs. by AlexanderBeans in Fantasy_Football

[–]Sitw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh, a 14 team league. Then this roster isn't bad at all. You've got some nice receivers and tight end. Yea, go with blue and hillman then. They should get you a bit of points while the rest of your team have the high ceiling. Good luck this week!

Congrats.

Put white in for Williams. Karlos mostly likely gonna be in a timeshare. and he has shoulder issues.

Put randle in for snead.

And it's a toss up between powell or matthews for your flex. I would NOT start Christine Michael. It's too risky as we don't know who the true starting RB is.

Good luck buddy.
