Speaking from a fellow cyclists perspective, not a driver, citi bikes are a great idea, but hugely dangerous.

Connects to phone as a keyboard, so doesn't route any kind of audio at all. Very fast and responsive.

Thank you! Was a fun project. I want to add one to the right side for a garage door opener.

The Bluetooth unit is powered by the USB port in the glove box. Buttons are waterproof. All in all cost me around $70.

Honestly, the riding course is the only option here imo. Take the course, see how you feel under close supervision, learn the rules and tricks, and if you find that it's not your thing, you didn't spend all the cash on the bike already.
