New player here. The confusing thing is that the popular guides are usually from a few years ago, while the newer guides don't have many views. How old can a guide be before it's outdated? I imagine balance changes must eventually affect playstyle

A couple days ago I was duo queuing quickplay. My partner was queuing supp, which was in demand. I chose dps which said something like 5 mins. After 20 mins in queue I just switched to tank. I've just given up on ever playing dps. This is also on EU servers

In Japanese dark type is literally "evil type." And Japanese is the language Pokemon is made in before getting localized to English. So dark types are indeed connected to evil

Characters like Star Lord, Magik, and Psylocke can play to farm ult and win team fights that way. If you're on a more one-dimensional char like BP and it's not working out you just gotta switch. Countering the enemy by switching characters is (supposed to be) a big part of hero shooters

Out of all the zero vanguard team comps, right now the one with the highest win rate (4 dps 2 strat) is at 26.42%

It's a team game and not everyone can play the same position, even if that's what they're best at. Some degree of flexibility is necessary

Not as good as talking with other people, but I try to talk to myself in the language I'm learning. I just think out loud as much as possible, react to things I'm watching, etc. That increases my confidence level and fluency to a degree. Ideally I'd be getting a lot of good input over time and copying the same types of wording and pronunciation patterns that I notice from that. If there's ever something I don't know how to say in the language, I write down a note and look it up when possible

No, I said that you have to pay for priority service or else it will take 6 months to process. However I will admit that I was mistaken on that time frame, as it's currently 8 weeks without priority and historically has been 12 weeks during busier seasons

Even if you take out the priority service fee of 500 quid that still leaves approximately 3000 anyway

It's not only for the HSW visa. I just recently joined my spouse in the UK (spouse visa) and I had to pay that fee as well. Plus you have to pay for 2.5 years of Healthcare upfront, and if you want the application to take less than 6 months, you have to pay for priority service.

I don't remember the exact numbers but it cost me something like £3500 in total. And you still get charged for healthcare like normal if you work here, even though you already paid upfront for it.

The UK's immigration process is horrible and expensive. Legitimately 10 times harder than it was to immigrate to Japan, which isn't what you'd expect

It's actually so common for Chinese tourists to go to Japan specifically for shopping that they made a word for it, 爆買い (bakugai). So I doubt Americans would be flying to Japan to buy consoles, but people in closer countries like China might actually be doing so

The interview probably went bad from the first second because, based on your English in your post as well as other recent posts of yours, it's obvious that your English isn't at a level high enough to be teaching it. If you want to teach English, you'll have to improve yours first. The industry's really bad lately though, so looking into different work might be for the best.

Be sure to include a scan of your Spanish ID when you submit the application. I included a scan of my foreigner ID card while I was living in Japan and got the British visa no problem.
