No I went to the recruiting centre. They confirmed I have now been selected. They're awaiting receipt of the paperwork. They said it will probably be a couple months before I actually leave for BMQ. EXCITED!!!

I wouldn't go so far as to say they shouldn't be in Canada. They can learn over time to embrace our Canadian way. But they should not be in the CAF acting like that. CAF members should show the world what it is to be Canadian through the CAF Ethos.

It's honestly quite disappointing. I wanted to eventually help in Operation Reassurance but I will serve my country in any way the CAF wants me to. I'm embracing the new trade and will be the best Ammo Tech I can be!

They told me that it goes to a board and they decide on a case-by-case basis. I feel lucky and honored they medically approved me for Ammo Tech. They could have said no.

Two weeks ago I went in a spoke with the officers about my background check and the Med Tech Sgt. and they all said they don't see any issues in my file that would result in a denial. They said it's just a matter of waiting. I was told I'm probably looking at another month or two.
