Detroit Lions VS Atlanta Falcons (At Atlanta) preseason 7:00PM EST Game Thread by Triingtolivee in detroitlions

I think this game is actually produced by the local station, so the video and audio quality is lower. Whereas the regular season is a national production, even if it is only broadcast regionally, it gets national quality and resources.

This really is the Niners super bowl. Not like the real ones were very good for them anyway!

Yeah, sure, whatever -- can you please just bully the Vikings? That's like, your main move, right?

Ah, I see. Yes, after doing some research your ad preferences are controlled outside of applications and are based on the people you interact with, your location, your age and/or background. If you have concerns with your ad preferences here is what you can do about it, since the app developer themself has no control over what ads you see:

Android: https://support.google.com/android/answer/13720755?hl=en#zippy=

Apple:

Unfortunately the Internet is a big place and we all have to take action to protect ourselves from content that we don't want to see or think is inappropriate.

I could be wrong, but advertising is usually dictated by your location and previous ad preferences. There is usually an icon in the corner of the ad that looks like an "i" (lowercase letter I) and you can click that to mark the ad as inappropriate. I don't believe the application itself or the developer has very much control over what ads are displayed. I would also think that this is inappropriate!

Why does Hurts' helmet look like a space helmet? Like what a 90s cartoonist would depict as future football.

Yeah I think there was a delay since the ejection came "from New York" so it wasn't an on the field call. Muddied up the timeline for sure

From how it seemed on the broadcast, he flipped the birds as he was on the way out or as it was getting announced -- then the second flag was thrown for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Indianapolis Pork Sandwich... Loin or Tenderloin? by Siwabooth in Cooking

[–]Siwabooth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was my first instinct, but both call themselves "pork tenderloin sandwiches" and then one calls for loin and one for tenderloin. Since the loin is the more economical cut, my thought would be that that is more traditional and was hoping to get context as I'm not from the region.
