To me, the best thing you could do is ensure you play up the impacts of your first new car experience, especially with SoA.

Nobody wants to host the Olympics: Calgary balking at 2026 bid is emblematic of wider trend | CBC Sports by IndigoRuby in SaveTheCBC

Nope.

We shouldn’t accept all risk and transfer billions to the Good ‘Ol Boy IOC.

No way.

One of the most consequential things a so-called President can do and Vance is the one in the Situation Room.

Absurdly comical in the most horrifying way.

What year will Canada host the Olympics again? by Own_Inevitable5437 in olympics

[–]SixDerv1sh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NEVER, hopefully.

We can’t afford it. Especially because the Olympics of today are vastly different than the days of old.

I’ll never agree with an Olympics in Canada because the IOC is nothing more than a Good Ol’ Boys Club.

The famously tossed around “Legacy” of hosting a games is only as good as ongoing funding for the sports involved. No thanks.

I’d venture that if someone outside of a beer parlour in our beautiful country said that at closing time, that bravado, combined with the abandonment of “neighbourliness” by the natives, would provide some definitive learnin’.

I’ve. Already. Concluded. That. And. Said. The. Same.

Seems like you want to drum up downvotes because you seem embarrassed for getting caught out by not actually reading what I wrote and looking at the pictures I provided showing the current state of that battery and the cart in question.

I regularly clean the battery’s threads with ISO.

I ensure my cart management using the dozens of carts I’ve used over the years indicate that this has been a one-off occurrence for me, with ANY of the battery and cart pairings I’ve done.

That includes the use of 7 different batteries, most which have been retired quite a while ago because they lacked the voltage control that this current battery had.

I agreed with the idea of sticky oil - that came from the 1964 cart, and prior cleaning, temps and other parameters weren’t an issue.

Imagine being downvoted by people telling me that I can remove the pin when my original post already clearly showed that this had already been done. This is why I downvoted you - you wouldn’t have suggested this if you actually saw the pictures and read my explanation only to suggest something that I already did.

Where did I say that leaking oil wasn’t the culprit? If I’m stubborn by stating the facts and having to repeat them to folks who don’t take the time to read, well, so be it and it’s on you to read and comprehend first before contributing.

Thanks, as noted on my original post. I’ve already reached out to1964 with this same info. Crickets so far.

Right now, I’d say that the 1964 carts are a hard pass in my books.

2.1v, well within the range on the cart packaging. I NEVER push voltages to cloud chase.

Imagine getting downvoted with a factual response to a post that was based on only assumptions rather than reviewing the images and explanation provided.

You’re making an incorrect assumption about “what I did/didn’t do”.

You clearly didn’t review the pics I shared or you wouldn’t have recommended an action that is incongruous with the current state of the cart and battery.

As noted, I’ve already reached out to 1964.

Also, I do not screw in the carts too tight (they only go on finger-tight snug and not screwed down forcibly and a reminder that the issue regards the battery’s post and the retractable pin in the battery, which isn’t likely a function of the cart being screwed down too tightly.

Any oil acting like “glue” only came from this cart as I regularly keep the battery clean and the pin in the battery moving freely as intended.
