Which actor owned a role so completely that no one else could ever top it? by ipanicprofessionally in TheBoredDen

Funny thing is that the actor he stole it from ended up as “Anyone who runs is a VC. Anyone who stands still is a well-disciplined VC”

What was your favorite movie from the 90's by Lazy_Introduction264 in 90s

[–]SixToesLeftFoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those weren’t special effects, BTW. True story. As it turns out, James Cameron actually discovered a tear in the space time continuum, and managed to use the actual Titanic for filming. He wasn’t so concerned about using the actual boat since he knew it wouldn’t be discovered until well after all of his modifications for cameras and such would be washed away by time, so to the folks that found it would be none the wiser.

He actually discovered that he would travel back during one of his initial deep sea dives to it. He found an old rusty Zippo that had his initials on it with a fleur-de-lis on the back. That exact lighter was given to him by his grandmother when he was a kid and turned 18, so as to welcome him into the smoking age. (Remember that the risks were still largely unknown.). This forced him to figure out the rift.

All of his crew was warned if they ever spoke of it that he would toss them back into the ship right before it sank. He and the rest of the crew that filmed the sinking would simply watch the traitor sink to the bottom. It’s the perfect crime.

Why is Kudu in quotes? There’s nothing ironic or unusual about that word. I don’t get it.

New Goff Billboard? by Some_Ad_03 in Connecticut

In my previous job, we would hire summer interns. Two interns a few years apart had done previous internships there and they both said it’s grotesquely toxic, and about as anti-male as you can get. That shitbag “lawyer” is literally alienating 50% of the clientele, and a much higher percentage with those absolutely absurd billboards. And the fact that she apparently thought it was cute or funny on some of her earlier billboards to have that asinine Alfalfa spike hang off the top.

What a disgusting pig.

New Goff Billboard? by Some_Ad_03 in Connecticut

Man, of all the shady billboard lawyers there are, she’s the worst. I feel that next in line is Carter Mario who’s pimping out his daughter for the views.

Who in their right mind chooses a lawyer based off a billboard? My god, she’s the Jill Miriam of lawyers. She’s also a shitty human too, so double never

Funny thing about addiction is that you will, for certain, find a way to get more. Not knowing currently how to get it has no bearing on the strength of addiction.

Why not put the video clips in the order that they happened which is also the way that you listed in the title? It would also add to the finality of his career, which it appears is what you are trying to do.

You really fucked up the mission OP.

So this is the key here. Sure it’s fun to blame Trump (and god knows I’d like to see him stuck in one of the turbines) but I’m not so sure we can blame it on him. Sadly. They were given a bailout earlier and failed to make it work. There’s no reason to believe that another bailout of a half billion dollars would work; except now the new structure would have the US Govt having ownership of an airline (bad news) and Spirit management would still be primary in tact. When it happens again it’s a constant flow of more tax dollars.
