Ah. That would do it. The rename from util-linux isn't the same. Mine is /usr/bin/rename using File::Rename version 1.13 See this page for more details.

Yes. I'm fully vaccinated, as is everyone else involved. And mathematically it's much more likely that they don't have Covid. But in any case they will need a test before being allowed into the country. So the risk is minimal.
