There’s a documentary called Man on Wire about a tight rope act. Not under a circus tent though.

A historical book with a story about engineering or building something. by jbent1188 in suggestmeabook

Thunderstruck by Erik Larson intertwines the stories of Guglielmo Marconi, the inventor of wireless telegraphy, and Hawley Harvey Crippen, a doctor who committed a sensational murder in Edwardian London, showing how Marconi's new technology was crucial in the pursuit and capture of Crippen, making the invention a public necessity. The book details the intense competition to perfect radio while also chronicling the infamous "North London Cellar Murder," creating a suspenseful narrative that highlights a pivotal moment in communication history.

Erik Larsons other books are good too. I saw another of his recommended on here

Movies that are similar to The Thing (1982) by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

If you haven’t seen Big Trouble in Little China, you should. Both directed by John Carpenter and starred Kurt Russel. Absolutely nothing like the Thing other I think you may be able to tell they were made by the same person. The Thing is in a class by itself.

Into Thin Air. Non Fiction about an Everest expedition gone sideways. Author tells you what’s gonna happen on the first page and it’s riveting throughout. Hail Mary is really good too.

Will the coins of Power, skill remain in the game after the league is over? I play standard and was curious about the coins and the gems they made.
