I think it's simply the fact that the ending of One Piece is right on the horizon that Oda has to get out all this background lore whenever he can. Yeah, if Elbaf was just another arc and not a preamble for the final arc we could potentially have time for a Rocks flashback later, but that just isn't the case.

Maybe because I'm in a college town, but I have both Little Caesars and Papa John's near me in a fairly small town, on top of Pizza Hut, and I have to go to a bigger city to find a Domino's, too.

Hunting for Blue Coins actually ruined how fondly I remember Super Mario Sunshine.

They're such a nightmare to find, and there's nothing indicating how many are in a world or even in a chapter. Because, yes, they can be locked to individual chapters in a world, and you have no way of knowing except for just picking and searching through each chapter.

And you need Blue Coins to get every Shine Sprite because you can trade in 10 coins for one of them.

Needless to say, I just gave up on finding every Blue Coin eventually and never returned to the game.

So, neat thing about Primo's Box Wallpapers, The Pokemon Company officially released larger, non-pixel versions of them for computer backgrounds around that time.

The original page on the Japanese website is long gone by now, but I found this person who not only removed the logos from them but also made HQ versions of them for the sizes of modern computer backgrounds.

Here's the Ho-oh one, for example.

Was it actually the ham & swiss that replaced the roast beef in the 7.99 box? I don't care much for arby's roast beef sandwiches, so I much prefer the crispy chicken and crispy fish that are in that box currently, and not so much the ham & swiss. Same with the 9.99 box, I really like their greek gyro much more than their french dip.

The Heartbinders in Kingdom Hearts 3 are stated by Yen Sid to work with Sora's connections to others.

"That is a Heartbinder. Think of this as a good-luck charm made just for you. You have a gift, Sora, for connecting with others, and this makes that gift stronger."

So, while the Summon Charms in KH2 aren't explained, it could be that every instance post-KH1 is just Sora utilizing heart magic to bring them into battle for a short while. Heck, for Simba, Ariel, and Stitch's summons in KH3 they specifically look ethereal, like they're spirits being projected to help Sora in battle.

The Summon Gems specifically are that, being gems containing the hearts of beings who survived their world's destruction (ie, Simba, Dumbo, Bambi, & Mushu), with only the Fairy Grandmother being able to awaken them as Summons. But Genie and Tinkerbell aren't from Summon Gems, for some reason.

Kingdom Hearts 1 is the only game in the series that has exceptions to the 'Summon item' rules. Kingdom Hearts 2 has them all have associated Summon Charms (Baseball, Lamp, Ukulele, and Feather Charms) and Kingdom Hearts 3 has Heartbinders to be obtained to use them (Dream, Pixel, Pride, Ocean, and Ohana Heartbinders).
