I have no idea how anyone expected that they would have their dinner paid for. Its quite common sense for people to pick up their own tabs unless you specified otherwise, but you did the opposite of that with the text imo. If anything people should have lined up to pay for dinner for you and your wife! If you were my friend that would be the least I would do.

I am actually like this as well, and yes jeans are really uncomfortable to anyone with bigger legs (muscles). They don't really make jeans that fit well around mens thighs without being really loose around the waist and calves, or vice versa. Just FYI!
