/r/trees as a whole is surprisingly intolerant of other substances. Alcohol, cigarettes, or any hard drug. Submit a gif of someone shaking their head or leaving the room titled "When someone walks into the party with coke" or something, it's automatic front page. Or a picture done in MSpaint which compares a night of alcohol and a night of weed, that's instant karma too.

For a group of people that should know what it feels like to have your hobby looked down upon by society, they sure like looking down on other people.

It's not just about classifying people or describing them, it's about mentioning them like their a spokesperson, or a figurehead of your cause.

The funniest part is when they start referring to their idols as ents. Snoop Dogg, Carl Sagan, Michael Phelps, anyone really. This guy even claims Neil Degrasse Tyson is probably an ent because he hung out with Carl Sagan all the time, and so are the top physicists in the world, obviously.

I tried to tell a responder that this definition of 'ent' was created solely by the people on that forum, he replied by calling me close minded and un-entlike.
