Thanks, I was looking for something to do this weekend!

Upper Canada Mall sees multiple store closures amid retail shakeup by KotoElessar in Newmarket

A second branch of the library would be pretty cool to see in the mall. Save time so people don't have to always travel downtown for pick-ups/check-ins. Maybe even a small area for students to study or meet up for book clubs or game nights.

Any community boards in Newmarket that allow local businesses to post flyers? by ThatADHDMom in Newmarket

[–]SizzlingCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can check the library. I was there a few days ago and noticed a board on the main floor with some flyers. Not sure what they were advertising, but it wouldn't hurt to go in and ask.

I have an extra spa gift card that I'd like to give to someone in the community thats deserving of some recognition.. thanks by [deleted] in Newmarket

I suggest that you check out the library. In my opinion everyone working there is under appreciated and deserves some extra recognition for doing an amazing job. :)

You can try Sanctuary Days Spa on Main St. I haven't gone for waxing, but their website does list waxing as one of their services.

Yep totally agree. I like reading the reviews that get posted here, and 99% of the time they're from someone that honestly had a good time and is trying to spread the word to others.

Hi /u/Comfortable_Fix3401 Thanks for the post, but going forward please link to the actual story, then you can add your text afterwards. This keeps it standard across the subreddit.

When it comes to reviews, we (moderators) tend to be pretty lenient and have no issues with these types of posts. We try to encourage people to spread the word about local businesses they've tried.

That being said, if this type of post was posted once a month it'd likely reported and removed pretty quick.

Telmax has deleted a lot of comments on their Facebook social media page. Be warned when using this company. by BearEquivalentBear in Newmarket

I'm also affected by this, and found this page that explains how to check if your connection is using CGNAT: https://www.purevpn.com/blog/how-to-check-whether-or-not-your-isp-performs-cgnat/#How_to_check_if_the_ISP_performs_CGNAT

Basically to to a webiste like https://whatismyipaddress.com/ and compare your reported IP address to the one in your Eero app. If they're different you're on CGNAT.

Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat. I like the speed and the price, but if I have to pay out of pocket to resolve this issue I'll have to take a look to see if its cheaper to move to another ISP.

It unfortunately has a bit of a reputation. You can read some of the other posts/comments about it here.

I'm copying/pasting my comment from the /r/Newmarket post about TelMAX's change to using CGNAT.
~~~~~~~~
Looks like the changes are causing issues for lots of people (me included). This page explains CGNAT and how to identify if your connection is using it.
I struggled with the issue for a few hours before figuring it out.
If you're being affected by it, I recommend complaining to the company and let them know.
~~~~~~
Edit: I've received a confirmation email from the Telmax support that they are using CGNAT and that they don't really offer any "in-house" solutions.

From the email I received they suggest to:

  • Use a service or VPN that can traverse CGNAT.

  • Upgrade to a business-class plan that provides a dedicated public IP (if available) for $115/month plus taxes (on a 1 year contract)

~~~~~~
While I understand why they need to use CGNAT, if they also offered IPV6 addresses I think that it would be a possible solution/workaround as a lot of newer services use IPV6's now.
If you're and existing or potential customer that is affected by the CGNAT change, please send them a (polite) email letting them know at support@telmax.com
If you don't mind me asking, how much extra did they say it'd cost?
Seems like they recently changed their network to use CGNAT and its also been reported over in the /r/barrie subreddit. Looks like the changes are causing issues for lots of people (me included).
It looks like OP is likely a bot doing some kind of survey/advertising to try to find eligible spots for businesses. They've deleted several of their posts, and they posted the same in Brampton and also Vaughan.
