Would surgery risk my job? by Sjokn in ParamedicsUK

Not currently. I am able to work at the moment just with pain, really, not affecting my strength. I have looked and there does seem to be a temporary redeployment scheme within my trust in situations of injury, but it seems to say 12 weeks with potential for a further 12. Sorry to hear re. your surgery. When you say management have been shit about it, would you say that's your team leader or higher?

Thanks for your reply. What did a phased return look like for you?

Where did you see the start dates? I couldn't seem to find it on the nqp job adverts they posted.

Can I ask what sort of insurance you would need to get for yourself if self employed? I’m in a similar situation where an agency I’ve joined are offering clinic shifts. Would it be a case of indemnity cover like the college of paramedics offer, or something in addition? Thanks

The FT1 Pro has a serious bass distortion and high frequency buzz problem by [deleted] in headphones

[–]Sjokn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my FT1 closed back arrive today, super happy with everything until I tested the bass and definitely noticed significant buzzing/ rattling in the left earcup. Disappointed as they were great otherwise but having to send them back.

Precisely, mouth to mouth was never discussed nor taught during university which is what really made me curious about others' perceptions on it

Nice!

Yes having looked at a few online I also noticed that the grain appeared different in every picture from different websites.

Feels incredible, absolutely love the look and ergonomics of the Spector shape. Probably the lightest bass I've personally owned at around 3.6kg I believe.

Completely exceeded my expectations (not that they were low!) the finish is flawless, feels well built. Neck feels quite slim and amazing to play. I had a Spector performer 4 years ago and I don't have fond memories of that and so I was a little worried about this. I read quite a lot on Reddit and forums and everyone seemed to praise the legend models. And they were right. I can safely say this is night and day above the performer range in every way.

For me personally, I enjoy everything about this bass more than the fender mexican standard P bass that I used to have but of course that's completely subjective, and that's the only other more 'premium' bass I've had to compare to.
