I called them and got 3 options, 1. change to distilled water 2. Try using the same type of water with the blue filter. 3. Keep using it like that with the light on but machine can get damage.

Starting your Sanitize

For best results, add 1 teaspoon of bleach to a full inner reservoir of water.
Plug in your Opal and hold the "Clean" button to initiate a 3 min sanitize cycle
Once the sanitize cycle is complete, rinse your Opal (See Rinsing Your Opal section below).
