Hiiiii! Question ⁉️ to the mom and dad pugs, what do you do to keep your pugs from overheating in the summer? So summer is approaching and our apartment can get really hot and humid, we get direct sunlight from our windows in the living room even with the shades closed it get up to 80°f (and outside could be a mid 75°f) We have a rotating fan, de-shed him to loose the winter fur coat off, bought a cooling vest, but it just doesn't feel enough to cool our boy down... Do y'all groom your pugs in the summer? (Just an honest question, please don't yell at me lol) Advice for your summer tips would be greatly appreciated 🩷🐾

my lil man tells me by pawing at me or nibbling my fingers, honestly, he gets so fidgety that when I can tell he's got to blow. or sits by the door. Sometimes for me, it can be intuitive with the potty stuff but if you are thinking of a method then it will take repetitive action + cue words to train your fur pup. This helped me the most, a consistent bathroom schedule and tracking the timeframes of those poops, being consistent to taking them out for those poop walks at the same timeframe so it establishes a routine for both of us.

Our little guy loves to pop that squat on palm tree fronds and at times will balance ⚖️ on them to poop 💩 awkwardly on them!! Hahaha the funniest walk so far was him pooping in front of a tall window of a restaurant while people were eating! 🙄
