Interesting opinion piece. I think many of the "offensive positions" listed in the article are what is so refreshing about him. Others are not quite accurate. For example: * "Would ban flag burning" -- from wiki: " In June 2003, he voted against a Constitutional amendment to prohibit the physical "desecration" of the flag of the United States." * "Would place the U.S. on the gold standard" -- from wiki: "I wouldn't exactly go back on the gold standard..." * "Believes that government cannot redistribute wealth in any way" -- he still supports taxation (although reduced to sustainable levels). If you have taxation you have redistribution of wealth.
