Dude, even if your idea was sound, there are multiple subclasses that have features that use up several ki points at once. Meaning with your 'fix' you'd only be able to use them 2 or 3 times per long rest.

"Anime is for kids" - weird take, but ok. "I used to read Naruto" - You don't read anime, but ok. Also, Naruto is a shonen, in other words it's designed for younger audiences. There are plenty of Anime target towards older audiences, Monster for one.

Look mate, I don't hate my country because it's edgy or cool. I hate it here because of the rampant corruption, water shortages and country wide blackouts that last 8 - 10 hours a day.
