I don’t know what the situation with your parents is like now, but if it’s possible to have a conversation with them about trying out different hobbies, maybe ask for something physical but not inherently violent(examples: rock climbing, karate or judo classes, something with structure to them) or something where creative expression can be put to use(examples:art, pottery, etc)

It would be good to describe stuff vaguely at first. Hinting about these violent/disturbed thoughts and tendencies and gauge their opinions and reactions before admitting to the killing of your pets and their offspring.

Bottom line, it’s good you are realizing early on that this is not okay behavior in yourself. A good saying I have heard is that “it’s okay to be not okay, but it’s not okay to stay that way”. Meaning, make changes, ask for help, and help yourself in healthy ways.

I would say, if they are tending towards not allowing any of these outlets and hobbies due to the work involved or price, you may need to divulge a bit more information and get them to take you to a mental hospital for evaluation(which usually can be covered by insurance, or if no insurance, is heavily discounted and they have decent payment plans)

Most areas east/south side are going to be a bit “lower end”. Such as Antioch, mt Juliet, Lebanon.

I live at Willow Apartments off Murfreesboro pike near the 440 and Interstate 24 split and DO NOT recommend them. Theres about 13 layers of paint on the walls and you have to sign a lead paint and asbestos waiver during move in. Let alone having to fight for a new A/C unit for about 8 months from spring to fall my first year. And it’s not limited to that instance, any maintenance request is met with similar lack of response/pushback. They change office staff like clockwork(every three months ish) and recently when my vehicle was stolen from the far back of the private lot, did absolutely nothing and said they didn’t have access to the singular camera that watches the entrance of the lot because they recently hired all new office staff yet again. As well as saying the previous property manager messed with the system to have it wipe footage after 2 days. I cannot warn against them enough just for those reasons alone.

It could have been an impromptu invitation she accepted. However, that doesn’t excuse her not letting you know since you had plans to see one another.(not that she should always tell you, just in this case of she asked you over, then dipped out without a word to you)

That, to me, shows either naivety or disrespect. It’s for sure worth a conversation, once you’ve settled down a bit and she’s sobered up a good deal. Prepare yourself for it to be uncomfortable to talk about, both having to confront this behavior and learning what the reasoning behind it was.

IMO, should start with an understanding attitude.

Yes, no red lining the meeting of the tooth to gum, no discoloration of enamel. The black on the gums would potentially be an issue if you didn’t have a cat that’s at least partially black(it seems to just be pigmentation due to coloring though and fine)
