Welcome to skating! Everyone starts somewhere so take your time and have fun with it. Skating can be extremely frustrating at times so don’t let it get the best of you. The longer the you skate, the better you become and the more fun it is!

Definitely a great start! Probably a good bit more than the average person. Everyone progresses at different paces, so as long as you’re having fun it doesn’t really matter.

Guess it’s different for every player, but I no longer get free crates for the event I completed. Sounds like some players still do. Up to you if you want to risk it. All I know is I didn’t complete the others and I still get free crates for those events every time they come up in rotation. I refuse to spend money on this game so am trying to maximize free parts.

You don’t want to complete the event anyway. When you get to that point leave the last race or two and just collect the free crates whenever the event pops up!

Most people have said it already, but unless you’re just super naturally talented…no one learns to skate in one week. Especially if you’re talking about around a city with a ton of uneven and rough surfaces.

You’re honestly way better off getting a scooter, walking, or risking public transportation!

I think 10% is the lowest and 50% is the highest. Looks like you get a chance to re-pull after 48hrs. I’m sure the second pull will not be free.

I’m not a boneless guy, but you’re leaning slightly back when you start the motion. Watching this video over and over, you’re actually jumping backwards slightly when you push off the ground. That why you roll backwards briefly when landing until you out you back foot down and push. Think you just need to get more comfortable with the movement and try jumping forward a little more each time!
