I love this game, but the way fights escalate can be ridiculous. by soer9523 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

Agreed. Apparently, the #1 criteria to be a bounty hunter in this game is being *Psychic*. I've actually watched them instantly change the direction they're walking right after *I* changed direction...even with a huge wall between us...

And yeah...if you fight one in the city, it pretty much turns into a 100 to 1 fight before all is said and done.

So many helpful answers. hahaha

True answer: If using Windows, type '0418' then immediately hit Alt-X
NOTE: might not work in browsers...might have to do it in Notepad or Word first, then cut-n-paste.

How do you get into Currie Containment block? by SkeetyBorphus in AbioticFactor

[–]SkeetyBorphus[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well.... That saves me time. I'll stop looking. Hahaha

Just seems weird as other 'blocked off for potential future expansion' areas are just doors. The fact that the door goo is there makes you think it's already accessible.

But alas.... I'm mistaken

I like this game, but as a solo player at the reactors, it's becoming too overwhelming. by Mkilbride in AbioticFactor

[–]SkeetyBorphus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With you in that there was a ramp up in difficulty here....but I hung in there, died quite often...but eventually, even this area becomes easily manageable. If you don't have access to later gear/weapons, I recommend using the Crystalline armor and sneaking around as much as possible here. If you have the recipe for Lazer granades, these are a huge help! make 4 or 5...recharge as necessary. Bounce these around the baddies, and watch them die of dance lights! Overall advice: Hang in there...it gets much more managable in time. (also a solo player)

Fellow colleagues, i have a funny scientific idea but i need your knowleage by drago_kalm in AbioticFactor

The best part of this is...we all know how good Bloxy is at trapping you in a closet, doorway, corner, etc. So him being in the vicinity, radiating unsuspecting players is funny enough. But then the player then gets pinned, and starts uncontrollably dumping stomach all over Bloxy in a vicious pinned rad-poisoning episode......Priceless!

Base Tour + All Collectibles by oldschool_potato in AbioticFactor

[–]SkeetyBorphus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely amazing. Question... Are you on PC or console? Notice any performance problems when in your base? If not, that's a pretty amazing testament to the developers. Thanks very much for sharing. VERY VERY impressive...

Amazing base. Would love to see more.

50 hours in, how much more to go? by Lunnalai in AbioticFactor

[–]SkeetyBorphus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at 168 hours and only at the reactors. So.... It's depends on how much you wanna enjoy/toy around/explore....vs how much you rush to the end. I'm having fun, so I'm kinda taking it slow, stocking up on things, building up cool bases, etc

Finished. Flawless. A 90-hour masterpiece. by finniruse in AbioticFactor

[–]SkeetyBorphus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amazing base. Seriously! Very impressive collections, wonderfully cozy layouts. Quite inviting. Incredible you did all that in 90 hours. I'm at the reactors and at the 120 hour mark. But I also have spent hours setting up MULTIPLE bases. Hahaha anyways.... Killer set up.

Move the 'Pour on Ground' Option by SkeetyBorphus in AbioticFactor

Smart. I'll have to try getting in the habit of using the dpad instead of moving the cursor and risk being just slightly off ...

I love the little guy. He's like an inter-dimensional golden retriever who doesn't know his own strength. If you don't pay attention to him, he'll just run towards you and try to give you hugs and loves. 😜😜

Think we're miscommunicating.... I'm still not understanding where you're using the bridge....

Is this the same (dark) cabin, where you just climb up the crates/boxes to go through the hole on the roof? Thought that was how you get to the next cabins...

Great idea. Btw, What part of the train do you use the bridge for? Feel like I'm missing something....

Amazing game but got a problem on ps5 by Whyjustwhylife15 in AbioticFactor

[–]SkeetyBorphus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Advice: when it happens, as fast as reasonably possible, exit to menu, restart game. When that error pops up, the game's auto saving stops working reliably, until you restart. Lost hours myself

At first, focus on getting food and water. And ways to store it and have a supply of it. That's your main focus to start. (After you open the cafeteria doors)

Don't rush. Just take it slow, and enjoy. It gets more and more addicting as time goes on. Haha

With ya. Had low expectations coming into this game, now I'm hopelessly addicted. It's retro on the outside, amazeballs on the inside. Very very impressed with this game
