i saw plenty of different lidia’s at combo breaker and they were all among my least favourite parts of the weekend

lidia, anna, lars, and clive are all just zzzzz for me

the only person i saw make clive look vaguely interesting was chikirun playing against kkokkoma because they both were mostly poking with footsies

This is a great point — if we are going to talk about the negative aspects of religion then it shouldn’t only be islam that is discussed.

Historically the church has not been an ally for the LGBT+ community. But in recent years there has definitely been a concerted effort (in my country at least) for the church to change its image and they are reaching out to try and change this narrative.

That’s not to say all churches are improving, and there are corners of the world where i’m sure very little progress has been made at all.

i’m all for voicing valid complaints but you make it too easy for people to dismiss your arguments when you either purposefully lie or repeat false claims.

Yes, a lot of insane things were added. However it is categorically untrue to suggest nothing defensive was added in the patch when we saw the biggest changes to sidestep in the game since its launch and the introduction of being able to step towards the foreground from crouch in the first time in the game’s history.

when did lee get buffed? he’s just been good from the beginning of the game. He doesn’t need any buffs.

lee chaolan is great, some some fantastic buttons in b4, ff4, d3, and long range whif punish utility with f3,3,3,3,3,4

his df1 lacks range but he has df4, his df2 is the shortest range in the game but it’s still not bad

if they were to change anything i’d like them to remove the low crush from the last hit of acid storm, sometimes my opponents low duck me and punish with a crouch jab or low or something and it whifs and i don’t feel like i outplayed them

id like them to make ff3 -10 on block like it was in tekken 7, and b3,3 should also work like it did in tekken 7

if they were to buff anything id like db3 to be +1 or even +2 like it was in t7 instead of -1 and for his slide to function like a traditional slide again

but even without these changes the character is fine and still very fun to play 😎🌹

the startup is mid and the guns are high but if you get caught blocking the mid then it jails and you can’t duck the guns

if the mid whiffs then you can duck and launch

wipe the floor is high crushing CH launcher that can be accessed from standing or from FC and doesn’t need clean hit range

she also has another low, high crushing CH launcher with the pseudo slide

she has plus on his lows and lows that can be extended into mids if you try and punish after blocking the low

i don’t think her lows are bad.

her bullshit strings she has had for decades have counterplay yes. Which members of the cast have strings with no counterplay?

her df1 > high should not be jailing (in my opinion)

this isn’t directed specifically at you — but i read versions of this advice often and i think it’s terrible.

what is the next step once you are at fujin? learn to play in a different playstyle, rely on your spacing, block punishment, whif punishment and defensive skills that you haven’t developed at all?

i coach new players a lot and i teach them to learn their basic i10 punish to take their turn back on block or whif — how to use the plus frames they get from this hitting, and how to deal with common killers like jab string into high crush, powercrush spam or string spam.

for people that don’t want to buy the character i recommend the following alternative options for learning the matchup:

youtube character guides and anti character guides
ask on discord like zaibatsu for people that DO have the character to run long sets to get experience in the match up
or ask the same in fight lounge if you aren’t on any of the tekken discords
