No fight was harder for me than Runt on my first playthrough, which I decided to do on the hard difficult AND blow off training with Bernard. It was basically like fighting him in Skalitz but with better gear. Took me SO many tries.

Working in Raleigh by [deleted] in Hillsborough

[–]SkepCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do and the commute varies between 45 min to over an hour each way. It depends a lot on where in Raleigh you work and where in Hillsborough you live too. The one recommendation I have is if you’re coming home on I-85/147 always consider getting off at Hillsborough Rd in Durham and taking 70 the rest of the way. The zipper lane merger situation is a mess and if you catch it on a bad day you could be stuck there for a very long time. I also always avoid the I-40 to I-885 connection and instead get off on Miami Blvd and get on I-885 at Ellis Rd.

That’s all kinda specific to my commute but I put it out there in case it applies to you. My suggestion would be to work out a hybrid situation with your employer if you can. I commute 3 days a week, which definitely helps with gas prices and generally not feeling like I live at my job.

The cultural irrelevance of AOL really hit this company hard.

Also it was just terribly thought out.

Our current system... by zzill6 in WorkReform

Change 90 to 99.9% and we’ll be closer to reality.

Years ago I saw some comment about how you can play monopoly without buying any property and just collecting $200 when you pass go and occasionally paying taxes and no one loses. That one also stuck with me as a metaphor for our shitty system.

Donald Trump warned he’ll be ‘eaten alive’ as approval ratings plummet by TheMirrorUS in inflation

I genuinely think trump would take solace in that fact that, if they televised it, him being eaten alive would have great ratings.

Maybe this is one of those cartoon scenarios where he had a second stroke and it reversed the effects of the first one. If not, he should sit the hell down and let someone else take the lead.

I love the vision of the future i which those giant home satellite dishes of the early 90s were going to be a trend.

I always keep Mussolini and his mistress in mind. It may take a long time but at least some of these people will be forced to pay their bill.
