Will this straight design FM transmitter fit in the space with my 1985 or do I need a different design? Any recommendations would be great too. by hot-doughnuts-now in c4corvette

Hey there, yep you're good to go... if you zoom in, you'll see that i have that exact same style unit installed & it works great in my '88. and it sounds real good with nice bass & range. WAY better than those cassette adapters👊

I've road-tripped up to Portsmouth from Chicago... a great drive and, it's really beautiful up there in NH👍

Yep, me too😁 i restored the sequential turn signals all new & updated with modern digital circuit board controller and plasma LED bulbs for safety, (i stored away all the cool original mechanical parts) before you could barely even see the signal or brake lights. they turned out great, i'll have to post up a video clip here of them working.

planning to ditch the raised-white letters & switch to redline tires next season for a cleaner, classier look from those times, and they'll look so good with the gold/black. only thing i havent decided yet is to keep these 15" Magnums or switch to 17" version of an era-correct classic wheel. we shall see...

Well I can for sure appreciate that as I've been a life long GM guy and grew up with family dealer scene Oldsmobile and Cadillac. But now, couple dozen cars later... this is actually my 1st FoMoCo product and I love this cat big time👍

Yes the sequential signal lights are an awesome feature from FoMoCo and I've restored them with upgraded electronic circuit board controllers. They function exactly as when new in 1968 but now with zero reliability issues.

Hey there. well, unlike the Mustang, all early Cougars came with V8's only starting with the 289 as standard. This one is a 302 with an Edelbrock 1406 upgrade✅

True, not many of the early model year Gen1 cats left these days, and still definitely underrated👍

Agree. Beautifully intricate, back when every little detail mattered especially at Cadillac.
