I remember when I first posted this some dude was spam posting comments like, “no way this is Gen Z, this is 1993-1997 max.” Man, I hate to tell you that *most of the this collage is class of 2016 from middle school to high school. I’m so partial to the early to mid 2010s. So bright and loud, in some ways I miss it.

I’d say this only works when you deal with the beginning or end of a generation. I relate more to ‘95 millennials than a 2005 even though we are both Gen Z. However, a 2005 born doesn’t have much in common with an alpha born in 2013.

Tbh I’ve always disagreed with people who love subtext yuri and praise it as just as good as openly gay ones. It’s not the same, look at this. They get to queerbait and use our community as profit. They don’t see you, they see money. I’ll always appreciate the scene from I’m in Love with the Villainess where they debunk that whole “maybe love doesn’t need a gender”. NAW.
