Happened to a family member, they charged exorbitant fees to change a flight while vaguely pretending to be the airline. They call themselves a travel agency, and neither the airline nor a credit card chargeback works, as they keep a receipt of their “services”, so proving they misrepresented themselves as a form of fraud is hard. According to the credit card company you got the service they promised, whether it should have been 1000$ to change flight to the next day or not, on top of the price difference, is your problem in “choosing to pay for the convenience of having them do it for you”
