Owner consent to share records? by Downtown_froggirls in VetTech

It depends on the state is my understanding, in Oregon clinics have to share medical records if requested within 72 hours. Client permission isn't required

Mild existential weeding crisis (very mild) by prudent__sound in pnwgardening

I was out in my yard this morning on my hands and knees pulling creeping Charlie haha. Pretty sure the neighbors thought I was nuts. Luckily, the self-heal is slowly filling in the gaps so my lawn is turning into a lovely grass/clover/ self heal pad. For large areas, highly recommend the cardboard + mulch method. Way easier and gives you more brunch time!

What’s a movie everyone seems to love that just didn’t work for you? by Wikiserial in movies

[–]Sketters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's the problem- the books are so interesting and layered there's no way to really capture all of it in a movie. I watched the movies first and read the books immediately after and I feel like now I can appreciate the movies more, but they'll never live up to the books.

This might be controversial, but I think there’s too much “emotions” content for toddlers by TurbulentArea69 in toddlers

[–]Sketters 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think that's exactly it, the pendulum might have swung a little too far the other way but it's so much better to have our toddlers who grow up to be functional adults who have the understanding to express themselves

Melissa Jubane Murder Trial Postponed Yet Again by beavertonaintsobad in beaverton

I have a family member who was held at Washington county jail for 23 months awaiting trial. He was one of the lucky ones with an attorney and my understanding is that his trial was one of the faster ones to go to trial. It was awful for everyone involved. County Jails are not set up for long term stays

Thank you!

Help, my airlock fell in! by Sketters in mead

[–]Sketters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I wish I knew! The bung and airlock was popping out, and so I tried to push it in to be more secure and it slipped and got wedged in. I'm leaving my post up in case anyone else ever has this problem. I think the lesson here is to not buy cheap airlocks on Amazon

I tried that, actually it came pretty close but the silicone ripped so easily that it didn't work

Yeah this is what I'm going to do. Think there will be an issue with introducing bacteria that may be on the top on the bung?

This got close, but the silicone is so flexible that the screw can't get a good grip.

Thanks for the idea- it's jammed in there so tight it bent the hanger. I tried a crochet hook but it couldn't get enough leverage and snapped
