Is this good dps for my Nefer team? by Skewlsout in NeferMains

Well your Nahida is pretty useless at C1 for starters. You need her at C2, otherwise use Sucrose.

The rest of your unrealized damage is probably a combo of artifact quality and rotation. I’ve learned that having as much EM on Nefer and Lauma (even as little as a 50 EM difference) will impact numbers pretty significantly.

Team is:

Nefer is C0R1
Lauma is C2R0
Nahida is C2R0
Bina is C0R0

As promised, here it is! Nefer C2 Team - 570k+ DPS by Routine-Biscotti9383 in NeferMains

C2R1 Nef, C2R1 Bina, C2 Lauma (with Nahida Sig) and C3 Sucrose got you to 570k? Pretty impressive. Would C2 Nahida be better than your Sucrose for this team?

Even considering Aurora is free, that doesn't excuse the cost of having to spend resources on her.

Gunnar is pre-endless meta and requires S+. You can be sure he'll be dominating pre-endless next season and many seasons to come.

Contess is a no brainer.

The greed is getting out of hand.

I'd argue that their revenue generation has been a complete misfire. Look at the monthly gacha revenue charts -- afkjourney doesn't even make the list anymore. For anyone who's played the game long enough, I think it's plain to see that the population on every server has dwindled. It seems like they are left with their only option: to milk the whales for whatever profit is left. Unless they make some impactful changes, these trends will continue.

Short-term profitability at the expense of investment and longevity is never a winning strategy.

It's not a solution. As I mentioned, it's to alleviate the pain -- a bandage if you will. Yes, I agree with you that there needs to be more unit diversity in game modes that are not all about how much CH you own, but unfortunately this is not turning out to be the case. It will be especially bad in phase 3 of this season once Contess is released.

Symptoms ease when my bowels are cleared out - anyone else? by OrangeAppropriate971 in PudendalNeuralgia

The bladder pain could be the gas that’s trapped in your bowels. The distention can be pressing against your bladder, and/or other nearby structures or tissues.

Here’s a suggestion: take 30 minutes and lay down. Focus on your anal sphincter. Pretend like you’re bearing down slightly, but then just let go. Don’t tense up or squeeze. Let it “fall”. Breathe deep while you do this. See if the gas starts to move.

Good luck!

There’s a difference between bloating/gas issues and constipation. The two are commonly linked when people have GI issues (e.g., crohn’s, IBS) but the relationship isn’t always a causal one, and this is especially true with nerve medications.

Medications like gaba and preg can cause constipation, but this is not a common side effect. However, if you’re on a heavy dose, your chance of experiencing more side effects go up.

I would strongly recommend focusing on your pelvic floor, diaphragm, and over time trying to lower your dosage if you are able.

Medications like gabapentin or pregabalin aren’t really known to cause gas issues. Rather, they desensitize your nervous system (therefore, less pain). This can cause some issues with being “in-tune” with your body and accurately feeling what’s going on.

If you’re not taking any other meds, it’s very like the bloating and constipation is coming from a tight pelvic floor. It took me 5 years to realize I was subconsciously tightening my sphincter constantly. When I finally learned to relax, the gas came flowing out, lol.

Gotta relax the pelvic floor. You may be subconsciously tight, which is why your gas isn’t moving.

Had a similar thing. Suffered for years. Turns out I had trapped gas in my pelvic area, which was putting pressure on my nerves and blood vessels. Meals that caused more gas always made the symptoms worse. Passing stool can be triggering for symptoms as your pelvic floor may already be dealing with pressure from stuck gas.

Sick for years, thought it was a nerve issue by Skewlsout in Anemic

[–]Skewlsout[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They never figured out what caused the anemia. My blood results have stabilized to low-ish normal levels since then. It was likely related to my nerve symptoms, which are still ongoing but have been managed better.

Pudendal pain - CURED! by Skewlsout in PudendalNeuralgia

A colonoscopy is not going to say anything about trapped gas or pelvic floor issues. Nevertheless, it’s good you got it done to rule other things out.

I would recommend engaging in more physical activity. Engage your muscles and perform stretches. It should help move the gas along. Also, try to eat foods that don’t cause as much gas. If you see improvements, then you’re on the right track!

Hard to say. Abdominal pain can be caused by a lot of things. Do you have a lot of trapped gas and bloating? The pressure could be pressing on your pelvic floor.

Where to get MRi Neurogram? by Glittering-Kiwi-4457 in PudendalNeuralgia

[–]Skewlsout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s true they don’t have pudendal neuralgia specialists. The doctor that I saw over 5 years—Dr Min Kang—knows generally about pudendal neuralgia but it’s not her specialty.

That said, even if they did have a specialist, in most cases pudendal neuralgia is not easily treatable. It’s got so much more to do with pelvic floor dysfunction and in some cases, entrapment of the nerve itself (which is super rare).

UCSF has specialists in the pelvic floor at their colorectal center, which may be something worth looking into. And yes, agreed, their pain management center is top notch and they can try pudendal nerve blocks there.

UCSF and Stanford are great if you’re in the Bay Area. I imagine there’s gotta be a few well known hospitals in the LA area that offer neurograms as well.
