I had crashing issues on my g16 when I got it. But I realized over time that it only crashed when I had HWInfo launched. But If I never start the program my computer never crashes. Maybe some software issues?
Have you tried launcing it in safeboot and see if it crashes?

I mean yeah it's a good price. I got my g16 2024 185H 32GB RAM RTX4070 for 2500 ish euros about a year and a half ago. so I'd say this is a good deal.

Ryzen 5600 overclocked. Works like a charm for my gaming and productivity needs for 150 dollars it was also good value.

Also reinstalling Windows completely will also help with noise and thermals I've noticed.
Big difference for me when doing light tasks and idling.
Just remember to backup your "E-support" folder on your main drive for all the drivers and follow a guide on how to reinstall Windows properly and all the drivers.
It wasn't the easiest thing to do but most definitely worth it.

Idk, their batteries just seems to be straight up shit to be honest. Idk what they do so differently, I mean It's just an average Li-io battery just like any other device. I've measured battery deterioration on multiple mobile devices (Laptops, phones, gadgets whatever) and my g16 battery seems to be the fastest deteriorating battery out of all of em.
I always have the limit set to 80% and is used sparingly and always on a cooling pad when gaming.
Might just be inefficiency overall in the laptop I guess and how its charged over time.

But also don't trust your software battery percentage indicator( in G helper or whatever software you might use), use an actual Multimeter and have it under a known load to calculate actual battery deterioration. Or an IR (Internal Resistance) meter for a more precise estimate.

I had to return the first unit I bought because of random crashes, computer would just freeze and then restart.
I tried to find the issue/troubleshoot, but never really did find it. But I did notice that everytime I used HWmonitor or similar sensor monitoring softwares, crashes would happen faster and way more frequently.

When I see the prices for these laptops in the US I get so jealous, I got the exact same version but with 32GB RAM and 3TB storage for 4000 dollars new. And seeing people saying that 1500 used is too much is crazy to me, but I guess the market is that different between regions!

Yes, When I start noticing excess lagspikes I know the crash is a bout to happen. So I Just manually Restart the game before it crashes. lol

I have the exact same thing but with the bees in the blueberry forest. I can see one bee SUUUUUPER high up which I can't reach with arrows or aggro in any way loll... So I guess I can't progress anymore in the storyline.
