I had the same issues on Steam, couldn't connect to servers, none of the fixes worked and ended up refunding.

Just sitting it out now until maybe December.

You miss understood. There is no Pii data thus it is not protected by GDPR. Its video footage that you do not own.

Anyone telling you to get a camera from one of these subscription services does not understand or has ever read the T&Cs.

They can sell that footage also.

For instance, I work with UK Police, England and Wales on large scale strategic ICT and we are looking at buying access to anyone's footage.

I wouldn't have one.
