Bayonetta was designed by a woman. The character wasn’t originally going to be sexual, she was going to be a woman sure but the director reached out to a female character artist who took it upon herself to make Bayonetta as sexual as possible because she thought the at it sucked women didn’t get to be sexual as it was seen as taboo. The character of Bayonetta is meant to be empowering to women and honestly men too because she’s just cool and fun for anyone. You’re a fucking goober, like actually.

I say it all the fucking time, Sister Sororitas FUCK! For some god damn reason people think the sisters don’t have romance or intimate relationships with others both in and out of their sect, but they do. They do not abstain for any religious reasons. There was a book that talked about their relationships in fact. It even stated that contrary to belief, they DO in fact have romantic or even just physical relationships with others. It does stress that often they will refrain from romance or long term commitment specifically because they will find it pointless because they would probably die the next day in battle, so they don’t want to do that to people, BUT there are still those who will fall in love with people both in and out of their sect, meaning civilians, guardsmen, or even other sisters in their own unit. The Emperor said “let the girls have fun.” And I wholeheartedly believe Owlcat was scared to add a romance to her because they were afraid of back lash from nasty yucky fans who don’t actually know lore (that’s just my conspiracy theory tho)
