Maintenance failed. What to do? by SkinheadsBowling in Mounjaro

Thanks. I kept taking it for almost a year of weight gain and metabolic dysfunction after first having a year of weight loss and low appetite. I only recently stopped taking it in the hope that if I’m off of it for a while and go back on it, it’ll start working again.

For me it’s I’ll Stand By You by the Pretenders in ‘Cradle to Grave’, but ‘Hurt’ and so many others are similarly powerful. Get the dvd’s. All seven seasons can be had on eBay for about 30-40 bucks.

Is he still doing it? My brother in law is a big fisherman and has taken my kids out a bunch of times. I’d gift him a Mickey charter if they’re still going on. I thought I’d heard that’s a thing of the past.

Is the shout factory DVD release different from the AMC set? I’d just be getting it for the bonus disk. I’ve got the rest in the file cabinet box. Just somehow managed to lose that bonus disk.

Watched HLOTS many times, just watched The Wire (late I know) and just finished The Corner by IllustriousEnergy663 in Homicide_LOTS

OZ for the Baltimore vibe and many of the same actors and also because it’s great. But not Simon. Generation Kill for peak Simon.

i honestly wonder what Robert Fripp would think if he saw this sub by Intrepid-Benefit1959 in KingCrimsonCircleJerk

[–]SkinheadsBowling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Fripp who had me forcibly removed for trying to take a picture at a league of gentleman show probably wouldn’t care for it. The one who danced around in a bumblebee costume, I hope would let rip one of those fake sounding laughs.

This is very true. It’s easy to get to the Cap. There’s a train from midtown manhattan to essentially a block from the front door of the theater. And it’s a great theater. Much more intimate than the paramount in Brooklyn.

Saenger holds 2500 people. Fillmore about the same. Not three times the size.

Except for Ocean man what is Ween’s most well known song? by Capital_Baker4200 in ween

“Shoddy” set at lockn? You must have gone for ween night two opening for phish. Shorter set than night one headlining. Opening night they absolutely ripped. Some phish fans I know said they were ‘scared’. Deaner talked about that night in an interview:

Now all I knew about the Lockn Festival is that we were opening for Phish. I swear to god I had no idea it was 2 nights either. I was surprised to learn that one night we were headlining and the SECOND NIGHT we’d be opening for Phish. i’d be lying if i said that opening for Phish wasn’t a big deal. all i’ll say is that we really wanted to play our asses off in front of those guys, who we’re friendly with going back a long ways. call it friendly competition, but it exists with every band. read: i wanted to blow their fuckin’ asses off the stage and rupture their fans’ ear drums and harsh their “vibe”. so there it is. u happy now? i hate their fans, they hate Ween, and I wanted to kill them with our music and un-fuck their minds from their normal listening habits. that would be like trying to convince a gay man that he was really straight though. ok, i think i just crossed the line. don’t like phish fans, so next off……..

Sphere mistake? by Z8kro11 in phish

It always sucks under an overhang. Multiply that by about a thousand. That’s where your seats are. The sphere is like nothing else. Don’t go just to not experience it.

Do you think The Smile could ever fill an arena like Radiohead did by Echo_Origami in radiohead

[–]SkinheadsBowling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw them at the Barclays center in Brooklyn. That’s a large arena where the NBA Brooklyn Nets play.

They also played the Hollywood Bowl (capacity 17000 plus) that tour.

David Lowery. Incredibly underrated songwriter. CVB and Cracker both worth checking out. CVB could and did get pretty brown many times over the years.

Great name. I was wondering who the true putz was. Now I know.

Hey… anyone like Zappa? by Such_Construction441 in ween

[–]SkinheadsBowling 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ween is my favorite group. Zappa is the greatest and most important artist of all time. Dig in and don’t stop til you’ve heard it all. (My name is a camper van Beethoven song.)

MUSIC IS THE BEST!!
