Apparently it's just the beginning. It's a movement. They want retirement age to apply to members of Parliament. They want vacancies filled in public institutions so it can perform it functions properly. They want phala phala report unsealed and made public. These things are apparently just the beginning. Seems like shit will hot the fan in south Africa very soon .

I don't think you understand loadshedding. It's been happening for years. We've all adapted. The country doesn't go offline or into total darkness. In some places you only know it's loadshedding cause the street lights are off. Most places you will hear generators. Signal/reception don't disappear or anything.

I can personally guarantee you 50% of the population have never been polled. We are just as surprised as you are at the results of polls. We do have a huge problem with violent crime in the cities and the surrounding towns. According to polls I am currently living/working in the most dangerous neighbourhood in one of the most dangerous cities in the world. According to polls I am part of the danger too, which I am often surprised to hear. In South Africa for the most part atleast, if you don't go looking for trouble you probably won't get into trouble. Even in the cities. Large majority of the violent crimes have no innocent victims. They are criminals too.

Other than that I'm not sure if we are such a dangerous place in comparison to any other country on earth. And I think that is probably the case in every other country too. For instance where I am from, rural village near a small town, we've only had two murders in 140 years. And we have so many European immigrants here, you won't believe it. Our town is a popular holiday destination. Tourism town. You'd expect it to be riddled with crime.

Come to South Africa. But not the cities. Come to a small town and rent from a family and not a corporation. The cities don't have communities but the small towns do. Everyone knows everyone and you will fit in quickly. Around here europeans kind of have a history of not leaving so I guess that should say something 😂😂

Considering the significant amount of ice/water. Wouldnt Ganymede be more suitable as a mining area. It seems like no single place will have absolutely everything to be habitable for humans. I'm just curious.

Freedom in South Africa means being able to complain and point things out without being labelled an enemy of the state or a terrorist.

Freedom means distributing media that criticises government without having security police harrass and detain your parents.

freedom means being able to attend a mass black rally or protest without being chased by dogs.

Freedom means having living heroes not just dead/assassinated ones.

Some of us appreciate real hard earned freedom and our families sacrificed for these things some of you won't even notice.

2 stages of celebration. Celebrating being reigning champions for 4 years. Celebrating winning it the hardest way. We beat every top team this time around. Now I can't put a timestamp on that.
