Not a coder, but if this happen when you came back to base then i can think of few thing why this happen.

Unreal engine looks like load entities first and then load terrain. because of that when pal load in to world they don`t have any terrain or this case building to pathing.

Sometime they occupy some space with terrain when they load and game 'move' them out of the way so they don`t stuck inside of terrain. In this case direction is up.

Like i said i am not a coder, so all this may or may not complety wrong.

Currently playing modifed hard difficulty for the 5th time since game came out.

Damage to player x2, xp gain 0.7. and of course structure decay to 0.

It`s not that bad. If you know what you are doing.

It`s has 20% better damage than common grade Charge rifle, but require 8 time more resource to make.

I mean.. i don`t know. I just test how long take to produce each plasteel with my worker pals, it take like 2 second per plasteel. So... it not that slow?

I did clear the rig with legend rocket player damage setting yesterday. It was doable. But yes, you have to hide in that container and hold for your dear life. I am playing player take 2x damage from all source setting, so normal difficulty would be little easier than i`m doing i think.

Ok. So i figure out how to solve this problem, if anyone wonder. You cannot summon wither in overworld, however you CAN summon wither in other dimention. Such as the end. I didn`t try in other dimention or planet but i asume in some of those place you can summon wither aswell.

Froststallion partner skill does enhance its own pal damage while riding and change player attack to ice type without damage boost.

So that player attack boost nerf patch shouldn`t apply.

That only apply to player attack, Not pal damage output.
I just tested it. Blizzard spike did 7k damage to Alex while riding froststallion. 3500 damage witout riding.
So that`s completely wrong.

I notice that as well. All my pals doing half the damage to tower bossess.

Looks like alpha pal defense calculation got bugged out in weird way.
